Description
Discovering your niche! I have scoured the internet trying to find the painter of the Flamenco Dancer whose name I know only in part.It wasn't until I got some help from fellow deviant, Mr C.Eastmids, was I able to locate the 'Distributor of the Print' whose website is currently vacated.
My revised speculation is that someone, perhaps locally, has signed his name to the print, namely 'RamΓ³n', thus robbing all credit from the defunct artist,
Rico Tomaso. Thanks, Chris.
Credit Image (albeit altered) of Flamenco Dancer by Rico Tomaso ~ 1898-1985 ~ a New York illustrator and Painter. Not sure why someone signed
the painting 'RamΓ³n.' And uncertain if usage rights are 100% assured. Should I remove deviation? I'm treading on new ground here.RCG

Chris Eastmids encouraged me to explore dragging my JPEG into the Google Search vehicle {click on the camera icon), write a couple of descriptive words, and...voila....there it was!.After an hour of looking at Google images, calling the restaurant owner, who was 0 help. The Artist: Rico Tomaso. Google is amazing...now they'll help us
ID visuals!
Thanks for writing, Trish,...and have a great W/E....

Yeah, you are so right. My wife tells me to quit complaining about
"WHAT things to do, things to do" and says, "Be grateful for having earned
this time to EXPLORE, after working for more than 50 years!!"Β And I do
believe she's right...and so are you!!! THANKS Trish....you are such a treasure!

Yes, Chris. I played around in Google, and most assuredly, they found it.
Maybe you could advise me as to what to do with the deviation. Keep it? Remove it?
Somebody, on a website no longer in operation, is selling prints of the piece. The
website, I bookmarked. Very interesting, don't you think? Google just has never let
me down!!!

Yeah, I shall not worry about it, this time, Chris.
If someone says, remove it...by George, I'll remove it.
In this country they're called Cease and Desist laws.
THANKS, as always, for your unending support!

I may have misunderstood you. I have 'Googled' (under IMAGES) in their search vehicle the phrase:
"Flamenco Dancer Painting by RamΓ³n" about a dozen different ways...coming up with
hundreds of different and colorful paintings...NONE of which matched the painting in question. IS there a way of
sending or PASTING the jpeg photo of the piece to Google and have them find it? That's what I thought
you meant. Just curious...dick

And you made me aware of this. How can I thank you enough?
Not that I'll use it every day,.....but still amazing, what Google can do!

Wow! I knew something like that was possible, but am unaware of the mechanics of the procedure. My son would know. He'll fill me in. The restaurant owner never got back to me...but I rather doubt if she could be of much help. Thanks so much Chris...I dislike posting work, UNLESS I did it....I'll let you know!
