Thanks for the encouraging words Trish. I'm trying to one, get back to realism a bit more, and two, trying to wean (or ween?) Myself off of plastic. I have found a new mentor, JosΓ©
Apaza, Peruvian, but living in Mexico for decades. I'm going to Google him, but his work just appeared in Watercolor Artist magazine. Simple, amazing.
Thanks again...hugs

One can always tell when there's a new piece of work submitted by you before checking the name, from your distinctive style of painting. Β This one is quite nice, as always.

No one can write a finer comment to an artist.
Not than I'm comparing, but I love the music of Aaron Copland,
and whether it 12-tone or traditionally approachable, it ALL sounds
like Copland...we artists should all strive to find a VOICE....
clearly and unmistakably recognizable. THANKS so much, Myron....

Your welcome, Richard. Β Yes, Copland has a fine sound. Β Sort of found Stravinsky and Mahler my two top guys.

A diverse but truly admirable couple of FAVE composers, Myron. One of them
is a real favorite of mine. Guess which one!!!

I'm guessing Mahler. Β Stravinsky it a bit extreme except for his chamber works.
