Description
Maybe it's a personality thing, but I sometimes find myself allergic to too much color. So, with such a painting, into Snapseed it goes. And what I strive for is a rather Medieval, antiqued look. Neither a right or wrong...just an alternative.

IT's beginning to seem a bit like a cop-out of mine, to 'Refine' the original painting
in Snapseed. Like it SAVES it or something. I try not to do it....but at least in this
case, I DID upload both. And I still like the 'Medieval' one the best...maybe I'm
leaning back and yearning for my younger days with processing and printing
my own photos....with good old Tri-X pan. Wonderful stuff. B/W is Sooooo unconplicated!
Hopefully I won't quit painting with a full palette of colors. THANKS, Lawrence....nice
of you to write me......

Yeah, me personally....the numerous dark days, missing my son, who happens to be approaching Machu Picchu on his four day walking trek , in the Andes, close to 16 thousand feet above sea level. I felt the quieter, more antique coloration works better for me....in general. Love to communicate with you....retirement has been lonely at times. Much love from your friend dick!
