I've got Kitty Pryde
And Nightcrawler too
Waiting there for me.
Yes I do, I do.
Kitty Pryde and Illyana Rasputin. 11x14, warm & cool gray copic markers, white ink, prismacolor white pencil. This was completed for Heroes Con 2010.
They're great characters to draw together. Both kinda-sorta teleport, have a certain expertise with swords, and are younger than the usual, bustier heroine. Plus, you know, both are X-Men and friends.

I'm glad you like the piece. A Shining Knight would be cool. maybe somethign Nouveau, and her bandages on her chest kinda loose and unfurled a bit. Ah, if I but had the time...

There's an idea! You should totally do a KISS piece, then you'll hold respect from music fans and comic fans alike. And who doesn't like one of those things? Besides Nazis, I mean.
This is sweet, I like the bricks being revealed in the shadows, it's very Sin City-esque. The expressions and the posturing are great, too. You really make that look easy, although I know for a fact that it is not. You've done a great job, as usual.

If someone commissions a KISS piece, I'd do it. My preference would be Peter Criss, but that's just me.

Peter was always my fave Kiss member when growing up. I don't know. Most guys preferred the demon, I went for the cat. I do have experience drawing him -- from back when I was 10.

Wow, really good job! Love the lighting. However, IMO Magik's left eye is sort of weird, and Kitty' pose looks a bit stiff. It's a great picture!

I love the colors and the brick background from where they are teleporting from.. It's so smooth I was surprised its copic and not prismacolor pencils or airbrush. Great job!!

Thank you. That's very kind of you to say. The smoothness is layers of wet copic color. I need to try overloading the markers sometimes. Supposed to make things very fluid. If messy, I guess.
