Love it! Reminds me of all those times I stammered out of nervousness. Still, this one's like a breath of fresh air, or cleared plumbing, or a good book all in one!

Thanks very much!
The playing cards have nice proportions, are solid enough to work on, and let me keep my hand and mind in collage when I don't have the time or space for a larger piece. They're good all round.

Drifting vowels. A regional accent? And how far do they stray?

As long as they stay out of the pipe at the top... they'll be okay.

Love this series. Amazing how much depth and texture you create on such a small surface.

Ah, thanks very much. It has surprised me as well - once you focus in, this little size has a lot of possibility.

Thanks, one of those happy accidents. This one had to hang around for a while before it was just right, but the "drift" was always there.

Your backgrounds are so cool. I didn't realize exactly how cool until I handled the cards. Smooth and seamless, with hints of words here and there. Really lovely.

Aw, thanks very much. It's a mixed bag of techniques I borrowed and invented, plus some sort of personal penchant for things being flat. A few months ago when Hanan did a collage with some folded pieces I thought, "Hold on now, hold on - you mean something could stick up?"

The flatness is what gets me, now that you mention it. It's been worked, but it's so integrated. And natural in feel too, like erosion, oh great rock rounder!

Heh, well, I've been through some erosive processes in life, I can apply them as well!

Well, I can put the pieces together, whether they would function I don't know! Thanks!
