Its an interesting image for the texture and detail, and it even has a bit of movement too. What this image lacks is some other elements to ground and compose the image. If you had left an edge around the basket, perhaps at an extreme angle, it would have added contrast and more interest to the basket. Also the extreme close up and the receding weaveing would have had more depth, Even simulating something like a landscape.

Even though I am not a photographer I like photos like these alot. And the fact that you made it black and white. It kinda looks like something out of this world at first glance.
