OMG, righteousred made a background? *pigs fly by*For the dear *rwparker : his OC Izayoi, the daughter of Kagome and Inuyasha, in a scene from one of his well-written fanfics ([link] ) where she reconciles her dual nature and embraces her humanity. Go read it, it's good.

Absolutely breathtaking. I haven't looked at Inuyasha-related things in a long time, so it was nice to run into this when I searched dA randomly. Izayoi looks amazing, like she came straight off the anime, and the background is fantastic. The colors work so well together and then you have the green in there to add some nice earthy tones. All in all, it's a perfectly well-drawn and well-colored picture!

Oh, I thought that was Inuyasha acting like a nun or some peaceful spiritual person while wearing the same priestess outfit Kikyo, Kaede, and Kagome (only once form what I seen) wore (him not acting himself that is). Anyway, I like this illustration. It feels peaceful.
I'll read it at some point. You make it sound interesting. Should I be familiar with the series though? I did watch most of the anime but I have not watch it in awhile and I never did watch the ending of the first anime which lead to not seeing the end of the second anime. I also haven't read the manga. Only browse through it.

Hehe, I thought it was going to be Inuyasha until I clicked on it. Absolutely amazing, the background made me go O.O in awe. Beautifully done. Based on your description I am guessing you don't do backgrounds often, but you really should! You're great at it. I wish I had background making skills like yours ^^.
And the character looks like she was plucked straight out of the anime! ^^

She looks....so much like Inuyasha. Almost identical. But that's a good thing! I mean, when I first looked at this without the full view, I'm like, "WTF Is that Inuyasha in a dress\monk's robes?!" Then I full viewed and read the author's notes. Then I looked at her eyes..and saw eyelashes. And the eyebrows are thinner. We know where she gets her looks from, eh? Anyway, great job and the background is superb.
