Ah sorry I don't have any recommendation because I haven't tried other brand other than faber castell and sedveral color from Derwent, which is more pricey ;v;

are you using special paper

I used Canson drawing paper 110gsm ^w^ It has medium surface (not as smooth as regular printing paper but feels quite nice) and allow colors to be displayed brilliantly ^w^
