Description
This is another one of my characters created for D&D, specifically Forgotten Realms, around 1993.. I never really played the game, but I love to draw them and give them background story.Evelani, known as Eilonwe among the elves and Lani by her friends, is a moon elf cleric of Corellon. Her life's work has been as a benevolent force of good, serving her god as a healer and defender of free people. She does charity work at clinics and helps feed and shelter poor people.. But battling monsters has also been part of her job. She's very sweet, kind-hearted, and generous.

Yeah she doesn't used piercing/slashing weapons- only her staff and her magic.
I wouldn't say she's a pacifist, but her role in combat is mainly that of a healer and defensive spellcaster.

Ahhh, I was thinking she was more of a martial brawler from how simple her staff was, generally a magic user will have some focussing device attached to their staff.

Well she's both.. She doesn't use the staff to channel magic like a wizard would. If she needs a magical implement for a certain spell, she can use the pendants on her neck and waist [the latter is unseen here], which are 8-pointed stars, symbols of her god Corellon. The staff is used for many things, including walking stick and battle staff. But she can change its physical properties and use it as a rope or a long pole for vaulting, for example.. or for dancing..
Sometimes she turns it into a snake or a flock of butterflies that follows her.
