Description
Did this one mostly for my own benefit. Practicing using more midtones, trying to set a mood, color theory, all that stuff. It was good practice.Character is Visas Marr from Knights of the Old Republic II, one of my favorite characters. One of the few Sith who isn't a senselessly violent bitch. She's got a more subtle hate thing going on. I admire that. Drew her with a darkside complexion and with bloodied eyes. For anyone who doesn't know her background, she's blind, and her ability to see through the force was horrifically damaged. Figured the blood would help with the mood. Reopening old wounds and all that jazz.
Anyway, should fit on most desktops.
Comments are greatly appreciated.

It's good, just, Visas Marr didn't lose her eyes, she is a Miraluka. Miraluka evolved on a planet whose sun didn't emit visible light, as such the Miraluka evolved without eyes, but rather developed an innate force sight ability.

Correct, but she still had the eye sockets, which were bored out upon being brought aboard the Ravager. (Source: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Visas_β¦

I got the impression that Visas hates living, so she draws off the dark side using that. She also would use her misery and pain, both from seeing Katarr die and then being shown all the galaxy at once through the Force, but that she hates her life comes out much more.
I freaking LOVE the blood from the eyes. With this, and the dead world background, I'm assuming this is Katarr? It would make sense, because Nihilus would have taken her there when she began her training.
Lightsaber blade looks very good. From what I've seen, those are very difficult, and are hit or miss. Good job.
You got the clothing looking very much like it does in the game. I especially llike the details on the glaves (the rings), the detail on the leather, and the Β details on the gold trim.

Amazing, your a fantastic artist. She's one of my favorites too. I'd love to see a sith male exile in the picture with her. I know it's not canon but i'm a romantic.

Amazing! Fantastic! It captures the dark tone of Visas's character, as well as the dark tone of the whole game. Everyone always talks about how amazing KOTOR was, but in many ways KOTOR II was much better. Hopefully SWTOR will be just as good.

Okay this is the best Visus marr fanart ive ever seen.
And i agree wtih you Rip. For all its faults Kotor 2 was a great game and considering it was made in just over 1 year. it as seriues replay value.
Pity Visas marr dosent get more recondition, Was a great charather and even though her romance was short it still was sweet.
But enough ramble. I admire your work m8

I greatly enjoyed her character. KOTOR II was an amazing game, despite how utterly broken it was. It will always have a place in my heart.

As I said before, MARVELOUS piece. Though, the more inward you get on that saber, the more you can see the strokes of your brush.
Aside from that, I cannot see any other room for improvement. The blood is marvelously shiny, LOVE that . And the shading over all... God, its is just. SO. DEEEP. BEAUUUTIFUUULLL. It's like Value topia. xD It's all just so sharp and ... dare I use such a lame term... AWESOME.
Dude, again.... Just keep up the INCREDIBLE work.

I could have gone a different route with the saber, I could have done it in a what that would have looked like it was just out of the movies. Decided to use a more "painted on look", so I'm at piece with it. I'm trying to get out of the habit of using tricks and trying to rely more on brush strokes.
ALWAYS room for improvement. ^_^
And I definately do NOT consider someone calling my art awesome lame.

Cool style; a little too angular in places to be entirely realistic, but that gives it a Tim Burton-ish appeal, and her face and the folds of her clothes are entirely realistic. This is an intense look at a Visas we didn't quite get to see in the game. Very nice!

The only thing that I would point out is that you got shading down great, but now you can practice glows. The light saber already looks good, but you could improve it too.
That's all I have to say. ^^

Very much agreed.
As for The Old Republic, it's an ambitious project, and if anyone can pull it off it's Bioware.
Unfortunately, I don't have the funds to pay for a MMORPG.

Why?
It was a brilliant game, it did things no other game up until that point had ever done before. It was glitchy and a little broken, but when you consider everything they put into it and what they accomplished, it's still amazing, and it remains one of my favorite games to this day, second only to it's sequel.

It's brilliant. It's less about main story, and more about the characters, and by the end of it, you really feel like your crew is one big dysfunctional family.
I do NOT advise playing it without having beat ME1 a few times though.
