Nice! I actually figured out how to do a similar technique on cardboard with some very fine and measured airbrush strokes.

very nice! I've used modeling paints and stuff before, So I know alot of those techniques, never thought to use them for props though... Thank you!

This should prove very useful... Especially since most people I've seen's idea of "realistic metal" is covering wood with tinfoil. XD
