Description For Piv

Look, i'm not the greatest at making or explaining tutorials, so it might get a little confusing

Ok, so first, look at the green circles. You have to make the part you want the tattoo on, SEPARATE, as in a new layer. (you know, so the tattoo wont go all over the place)

So lets say I want my tattoo in the back, then I make a layer for my back

Next, look at the red circle. Put in the name of any bmp, tga or any of that stuff in the separated layer

Of course, the file will spread ALL over the separated layer. So look at the LIGHT blue circle and click that button. Use those to UV map (or resize) the image

I should of put this in the beginning, but look at the DARK blue circle. See that white? The white background of the picture makes it see through >.<
This is how it got it to make it like this:

1) take a picture of your model using mmd)

2) take the skin color of your model (I use photoshop) and recolor anything white (that you dont want)

3) save it (i saved it a a tga file idk if it'll work as a bmp file)

any questions? you can ask me here or send me a note
becuz i know this was confusing

Um... I'm having a bit of a texture problem. I made a texture to go on the face of my model, it's just kind of some black swirly things, but when I put it on his face, all that happens is that the half of his face with the texture turns a slightly darker color. The color is still flat, and even though it says there's a texture, just by looking at it you can tell there isn't. What do I do in this case?

Select all the orange things you want to make a new layer, then right click on the layers thing and hit the ctrl+S. (only works if you are useing one layer though)
