What is the use of the sal enixon and thion hudor?

They are to mix together. With the proper incantations, thion hudor, also known as "bile of the serpent" boiled together with the sal crystals create vapours that will, for a time, render the caster's smell indistinguishable to that of a Deep One.
Of course the elder sign in the vessel adds a second line of defense since Deep Ones cannot attack one protected someone carrying one such sigil.
