I bought Forgebane because I wanted the Knight Armiger. Those have been assembled but are not yet painted. What it left me with was Necron models - I have never owned Necrons before, so I didn't have a color scheme. I decided that gloss black might work.

It's a Chaos Black spray primer with a wash of Nuln oil Gloss. The wash does not cover ever component, just the main body of the cryptek, the not-scarab thing's core and face, the head of the staff and the cloak. The cloak's other side is two-tone black and bronze, but that's not visible from this angle.

Let me know if you think this color scheme works.

EDIT, oh, and that mark in the middle of the scarab's eye was an accident, but it looked like a pupil, so I left it.
