Description
A very small (literally) sample of the Miniature Subway Lighting by way of Fiber Optics. This surface is the very narrow space sandwiched in between the lowest floor's ceiling and the floor of the next level above. The little guy walking down the stairs can only be seen from below underneath looking up through the stairwell. From there we cannot see his stair surfaces or the landing surface on top. I glued the gray concrete color wall just to be his background from below.

The dozens of Fiber Optics are woven all throughout the Subway Model any place I can squeeze the optic strands. Some places they get really tight because the strands can't compress together and collectively they are very difficult to manage. To the upper right they are gathered to the LED flashlight source below, from there they all fan out to each 'bay' to the left between the archways in the subway ceilings.
