Description
This is a cut away of an HO scale Subway model that's under an HO scale city. The Subway is a split level transfer station so the space between floors and under the street level gets pretty tight. The best way to light everything was Fiber Optics entirely lit by one single Flashlight that I concealed in a discreet trap door compartment. Fiber optics can bend tight corners and into really tight places. Sometimes I had to heat bend the very end of the fiber to snake it in between walls. The beauty of this system is never having to chase down a single burned out light. The flashlight goes out, everything is out! We hard wired a power supply to the flashlight so it's permanently run by normal 110AC US house current.
