Description
This was the office in the old building where I originally built the "City in the Window" display models. The Client's office had a double window, meaning there was an air conditioning 'crawl space' between two walls about 30 inches deep. The furthest window is in the building itself and overlooks the parking lot. The inner window is in the office framed nicely into the wall. He wanted a model 'city' built in the cavity to hide the AC ductwork and electrical conduit that was right under the outer window and feel like we're looking out over a city rather than just the parking lot below. That's how the whole "City in the Window" project all got started. A few years after it was all finished they sold the building and moved to the present location and of course took the City Model with them. That's what you see in my other DA posts. Notice all the collectables all over the office!

At this early phase I'm test fitting the city components for both fitting around the AC duct work and for squeezing through the tiny access door that's between the two walls. THIS was quite a challenge! Painting the models came later.
