A wintering Eared Grebe I happened across while out birding a few weeks back. It's been fun finally getting out and birding on my own in a new state.
I'm actually surprising myself with how many birds I can ID.Side note, ain't it crazy how birds shrink when you level a camera at them?
Still, managed to get decently close, so I thought I'd share

Yup, it's a dead giveaway that you have a grebe on your hands, seeing those bright red eyes.

Yup, I had some really nice lighting as well, so all the water looked silvery like a sea of mercury. Really fun to shoot.
