One of the red pandas at the Sacramento Zoo, looking just a bit unsure what to make of me and my honker lens.
Happy/Sleepy fellow overall though, so I couldn't have been too troublesome.

He's a bit long in the tooth (and snout, as some other have pointed out to me), but he seems to be in good health overall. Honestly, a lot of it is probably the pose, as he didn't strike me as gaunt, and doesn't look this thin in some of the other shots I took on the same day.

Now that I know they're there, I think tigers are my favorite from the Himalayas, but red pandas are definitely pretty high up on the list.
