Description Three weeks post-infestation, Captain Dhruva and the Constitution are ordered to Deep Space Station K-7 to check on the safety of its vital Sherman's Planet cargo... and to assure eradication of the tribble threat was complete.

Maybe I've worked the new K-7 model out of my system.

Maybe...

Aggi: K-7 and Constitution.

I like this. The starship in particular, the way you have it colored, reminds me of the publicity paintings that came out when Star Trek was on the air.

Hm. Interesting perspective on my colors. Of course I don't have pillars of flame shooting from the nacelle ends, so that definitely shakes the illusion of the early Trek promos...

I really like these Space Station pictures. Gets me to thinking about what an average, unremarkable workday is like for a starship. The detail of adding the shuttle and the cargo ship really aids in creating that "workday" atmosphere.

I really like what you've done to give the impression that there are rooms inside the space station that are semi-visible through the viewports. How were you able to do this? Photoshopping?

I'm glad you noticed the interior spaces. I was really happy with how they cam out here, too! And it was a remarkably easy piece of postwork. Some times the best results are NOT the most time intensive ones.

These are great. I love the way they hold up even at these close shots.

Thanks. I did have to do a LITTLE postwork doctoring, like adding detail behind big, white windows. But for the most part these are pretty darn good models!

Arcass, where are you getting these ship and station models? Are they posted anywhere?

Yes. And no.

The ships are all LWOs from Foundation3D. The Poser translations (to OBJ format) are done using Celticarchie's tutorial: [link]
