Description
A Space:1999 scene as a new pilot trains through the local nav beacons surrounding Alpha, shadowed by a safety escort.A little fun with Greywolf Starkiller's new Eagle model for Poser and DAZ Studio. A really fine piece of modeling! DAZ Studio and Photoshop image. Background by NASA and the American taxpayers.

I'm glad the match works for ya. This was actually my third attempt on the piece. I'm not sure what it was so tough to get close-to-right.... though it's probably due to figuring out what was the right amount of ambient light bouncing back from the surface.

Thanks! With all that reflected light bounced off the lunar surface, it was a little tougher than I expected.

I loved that show...Runemaster and I were amazed that we both knew about it.
GREAT work on this. It looks like a photograph. But, I guess that is the point, right? To make it look REAL. Well done!

Hey, why WOULDN'T you know about it? It was about the only new/cool SF on TV in that mid-seventies SF desert. Those were rough times.... but it let us all drink in Trek via syndication

How'd you get it so sharp? It looks like a NASA photo. I've never gotten a render to come out that sharp.

Maybe it's just the light? I think a lot of making a sharp render comes from throwing the light intensity and coverage of light on an object. And in this case the raytrace shadows help, too.
