Description
hey!so i've been asked a couple times to do some tutorials, and i always mean to, but it just never happens.
anyway, i realize this isn't anything special, but *acjub always loves the eyebrows that i draw lol. so i made an effort to take pics of my process as i drew 'This World Is Not Real'.
so! i hope it isn't a waste and it helps a little bit, at least.
i realize i am crap at explaining....
oh yeah and the font i used is called lumos.
i love me some hp

I have a thing of reading them EVERY summer; it's an addiction and I'm a hopeless fan lol
It's funny, cos with the Order of Phoenix, I didn't realise Umbridge had set the dementors on Harry - I must have missed it, after the hundreds of times (literally) that i have read the book.... lol

Very useful tutorial. You will always get people who comment thinking they know better. When this happens, I generally have a look at their gallery and if they can do better then I respect their input and try to make the changes, if not then ignore it.

i'm so happy you think so!
yes, that's what annoys me. when someone who rarely does traditional or realism comments and starts saying i did it wrong.
oh well, what can you do?

Absobloominlutely nothing. I don't mind taking constructive criticism from someone who can produce that type of work themselves, we can always improve that way. I reckon we just have to ignore the rest. Just keep on producing your brilliant artwork.

There's too many white lines at the end of the eyebrow. I can't see the white lines that you've put in there in the reference at all :/. The only thing slightly like the white lines you've put in could possibly be a couple of white hairs in his eyebrow. But your added white lines are too bold.

it is only my interpretation...
i said at the very beginning it doesn't have to be exact.
it is impossible to make highlights as thin as they are in the reference with the tools i have.
thank you for looking though!

I was just giving a suggestion that you could look over to try and fix the mistake.

like i said, thank you for looking and trying to help.
however, i drew this to the best of my ability and if i had thought i could've done it any better then i wouldn't have made a tutorial with it.
i don't know how often you draw realism, but there is always going to be differences between a photo and a drawing, no matter how hard you try.
anywho, in the future i will try not to make the highlights so bold. thanks!
