Ya know, I recently found that Don Bluth has a YT channel! Largely, he's showcasing his tutorial DVDs on animation, (how awesome is that?!) but it's great to see such a legend from my childhood embracing the digital age! (I'm so old, I remember skinny Oprah!) Even so, his methods are still rooted in traditional media and traditional techniques, as you'd expect. I imagine most digital artists who struggle do so because of a lack of understanding traditional media. It's hard to digitize and improve when you don't understand what it's supposed to look like. Obviously, you don't have a problem with that! You've always shown professional quality with digital and traditional techniques as long as I've been watching. This one's certainly no exception.

Thx Dystar. I've met Bluth many times at SDCC growing up, the last time tho was prob one the coolest moments I've ever had at a con. It was in 2009 I was running back and froth from the Play booth to the APE booth for signings, and along the way there was a Wacom booth. I had a few minutes to spare so I was messing with a Cintiq, having spent the last year working mostly in digital, it was fun showing off some of my techniques to the demo guys. Well someone from behind me started asking me questions about working 100% digital, I turn around and its Don Bluth and Gary Goldman. Crazy true lol They chatted with me for 10 min or so and then started their signings they had at the booth. Crazy fun. Really appreciate the kudos, I look forward to producing more stuff and wrapping this one up ^^.
