Hy everyone! Yes, I know we been through this once, but It's still kinda funny, and I needed to upload something while I'm working on the next chapter of Excidium!
Some peoples have difficulties with telling what gender an Anime character is. Especially when a female character doesn't have breasts.
When someone is telling me that Heinkel is a boy because she doesn't have breasts, I just say one thing. Did anyone noticed that besides Seras no other female character in Hellsing has actually breast? Integra, Rip Van Winkle, Zorin Blitz? It has a simple reasons. It's more realistic this way. In real life not every girl has a body of a godess. In hellsing we can see how badass and attractive normal looking women can be. (except for Zorin, she is kinda creepy)
Another thing, that in an interview Hirano was asked about Heinkel's gender and he said that "I don't know, maybe she is intersexual". Can't anyone actually tell the difference between a sarcastic joke and an actual information. Hirano is an artist and as many other artist, he also has a temper. Even I have temper issues. Once I drawed anime figures in my school, and one of my classmates asked about one of my characters what gender it is. I felt a bit insulted, so I just said: "Oh, I don't knooow, maybe it's a shemale!"
I hoped that he'll understand the irony in my voice... And an other thing. Heinkel is voiced by a woman. (in japanese version) And that is what counts. In English version the transalators used a Female voice actress for Schrödinger, so that source of information can't be trusted everytime. I just hope when it comes to the next OVA they will use the right voice for them.

It's sad that many people think Heinkel is a boy, but if you look OVA 8 you can see that she has boobs.
I'm still angrey because the german translator said she's a boy

Schrodinger's ablilites are limitless, but what would he do in a fight? his power isn't as varied as alucard's

Heinkel always WAS my favorite, and I always thought she was the MOST attractive. So, kudos to Heinkel for, at least, ONE fan who thinks she's super hot, flast chest or no! ^^

Well, I will say. Zorin blitz did have suprisingly big boobs. Not from some standing points ,but there were a lot more noticeable then a lot of other women. I think it was more on the fact she wore tight muscle shirts.

Hilarious! But i still prefer Alucard as the best Girl: [link] And on Hirano's Crossfire, she has a heck of a pair. I love Zorin, because weird people needs love too (like me).
Believe me, dear, many don't get the sarcasm of the irony on one's voice nor replying to some annoying comment (i did that a lot with my flamers who still thought i was being 'good' to them). Our gene pool has too much chlorine.
The cat-boy needed a female voice to make him be squeaky and childish. Women have a higher tone than men, even as kiddies.

LOL! that's true ^^ Yes, it's a bit irritating. I however deciced to simply ignore someone if he/she annoys me, but never block anyone. Humans change, and just because we are not in common in one thing it doesn't mean that we can't have similarities in other stuff.
I have to agree with your point, but still belive that the Laura's voice is too feminime for Schödinger.

Zorin had some breasts... not as big as Seras, but noticeable... and for the record I never thought Heinkel was anything but female. (a manly female, but still female)
Gotta love the irony of SCHRODINGER discussing being confused for the opposite gender. How many people have I met who thought he was a girl....

I thought and hoped Heinkel was a boy as well, honestly I'm not convinced about Heinkel's gender, I think s/he's like Chrona from Soul Eater, genderless...

The whole genderless Chrona thing really throws me off. I thought it was boy personally, but it could certainly pass for a girl too...
A big part of my assumption of Chrona being a boy is the large amount of (Fan created) Kid x Chrona pairings and the popularity of yaoi, so... er, yeah.

I guess each gender sees that character as it's favorable to them. I'm a girl so I saw them both as guys, you're a boy so you saw them both female XD
As for Crossfire, I wouldn't count on that much, a lot has changed in the characters design when Hellsing started.

Es ist schon irgndwie lustig dass man bei Heinkel nicht erkennt, dass sie eine Frau ist. Schon allein in Crossfire gibt eine gutes Bild von ihr ohne ihren Mantel, wo man auch ihren Vorbau sieht.

Ich hab gehört, dass Hirano sowas gesagt hat, dass die Heinkel in Crossfire ist nicht dass selbe mit der Heinkel von Hellsing.

Macht vielleicht Sinn. Auf der anderen Seite sehen die Charaktere im ersten Kapitel von Hellsing und somit auch Crossfire total anders aus als in den späteren Kapiteln. Man bedenke wie Alucard zuerst aussah.
