WWOOAAAHHH, you blew off my mind: First, I thought you were going to make the whole film an actual movie, where Judy was actually a white rabbit with red eyes. Now it makes sense: After what happened, of course Zootopia was going to make a movie about Judy

Oh, so Judy and Nick do exist and they did do those things. A movie director just happens to want to make a movie based on that case.

A movie that's really a movie within the movie's universe, but turns out to be based on real events... Movieception

I'll be honest: I didn't expect this.
When I saw it I thought "Oh, that's unique, it's a world where the movie "Zootopia" IS a movie, but it's set in a world like the one of Zootopia!"
And then it was like "OH DANG IS A DOCUMENTARY!"
I like this idea.

Thank you very much! I actually rewrote this story a dozen times, originally I wanted to leave the twist of it being a 'documentary' for later, but at the same time I really don't wanted the readers to think of Ace and Genny as AU versions or Nick and Judy. Hope there will be still plenty of twists left.

Plot twist: It's a documentary ABOUT the documentary.
Who'd they get to play Smellwhether?

Damn - can't keep myself from nitpicking but shouldn't it be "figuratively" instead of "literally"?

RobertFiddler In reply to li-mero [2017-01-30 08:57:19 +0000 UTC]
In my country it depends on the context. We always used it in both figurative and literal way.
It's considered a funny way to exaggerate a statement, when used figuratively.
"He literally got scared to death" - does not implies that he died, but that he got really badly scared.
As a writer, a decision has to be made. Do I use a word as the masses do, so they as readers understand
what I am writing... or I please a few, while most people will find the dialogue to be off-putting
and not lifelike.

pepoluan 's reply was news to me.
I have to admit that as soon as I had posted my comment I realized "figuratively buried in work" just sounds wrong and it's not possible to actually be buried in/under work because "work" is nothing physically tangible.
I guess I was/am wrong and learned sth. That's a plus in my book.

Amazingly, the word now means *both* "literally" and "figuratively":

Soooooooooo...if I'm to understand what's going on here, this comic portrays the Disney made story of Zootopia as a movie shot by animal actors in the world of Zootopia, correct?

RobertFiddler In reply to EvanAdwin [2017-01-22 21:46:21 +0000 UTC]
Hmm... maybe, maybe not. Maybe the "Zootopia" what we saw WAS the real event

If you mean actors are making a recreation of the events that happened, then yes.

OK, for the first two pages I thought at first, it was a sort of "Animated actors" thing.... Now it's a movie based on the events of the movie.... *head explodes*

Really cool, I just wanted you to know I noticed a typo.
In the second speech bubble, Judy says "I noticed IΒ little thing". I'm pretty sure that second 'I' should be an 'a' or something.

RobertFiddler In reply to jak0723 [2017-01-15 21:29:24 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, typos happen time to time. It's that thing that a writer reads what he thought he wrote and not what he actually typed down. Thanks for letting me know anyway

It might be the number one that happens to look like a capital letter "I" in that font.
"I noticed one little thing that..."
