I commend you Robert on the continuation of this comic. Truly riveting, especially how you portray Judy's nervousness when talking to Nick's father. It's as if she wants to be liked by the father of the mammal she likes but can't admit to herself (at least openly) that she does.

I see now where Judy's thoughts were going at the end of the last page. I'd like to know more about John's story too.
Nice idea to blend the pig guard/warden at the end of the movie with Disney's original idea of having Swinton be the mayor villain instead of Bellwether. I think this is the first time I've seen Swinton used as a non-villainous character.

Thank you! I liked the idea that several characters got repositioned during the writing. Clawhauser was originally meant to be Nick's friend and hustling partner, Honey was also meant to be his friend and conspiracy theorist became a doctor who worked for Lionheart. I like the idea of bringing some aspects of their originally intended role into the new setting but without going against their final versions.

Interesting story so far (great art as usual). Judy is carefully finding out more about Mr Wilde.
I had a bit of a shiver seeing Warden Swinton and her tiger assistant in the first panel with the comment about going into politics. Probably just a coincidence but it reminded me of the Mayor Swinton and the tiger Mr Stevens, her Chief of Security, from Mead's story "Judy is Dead".

In this image she is the pig in the first panel. This appears to be a continuation of her momentary part in the Zootopia movie where she was seen as the prison warden watching Bellwether and a couple other prison inmates while they were watching on TV the big Gazelle musical celebration at the end of the movie. In an early concept of the movie Swinton was going to be the Mayor of Zootopia with her plan against predators before it was changed to Bellwether.

Good thing THIS Swinton is NOT like her original concept self who was the main villain.
I like how Nick's parents are more accepting of Nick becoming a cop then how Judy's were at the star. Maybe it is because being a cop is not so different from a junior ranger scout?

Right now, my intention was just that she is honestly worried about whenever Nick's dad dislikes her. There are lot of parents in life who are against their children taking different path than the one they envisioned for them. But we will find out soon enough

I've seen so many versions of Swinton, and this one stands out. A cop become politician? An interesting take indeed.
I like how humble you make her and at the same time, she was a warden.Β
That aside, Judy's reflectiveness about the situation is intriguing. To believe that John may dislike her or that something shady may be going on is so her.Β
Seriously, though... What you did with John and Marian's hair, I... I can't get over it XD
