I'm liking this so far. Most people in the fandom know nothing about John Wilde. So they usually think Nick had a single parent childhood. But in the original concept, they made John out to be quite a positive and caring father. Even if he wasn't in the final draft, it wasn't like he didn't exist in the storyline. Yet I would really like to see him in it.
It's good to see people include Nick's pops as well as his mom. Can't wait for the next pages to come.

Let's see, Nick is around 32, according to the movie, but John, if he's in fact his biological father, claims to have only known Nick's mother "near 30 years." So it seems they were separated from each other at one time or perhaps he's her second husband? Adding the title in, I'd hypothesize that there was an accident or event that someone feels responsible for. Anyway, it's good work, thank you for gifting us with this wonderful art and story.

More lovely artwork and the movements and interactions between the characters is depicted nicely.
Apparently Nick has been listening with more than feigned interest when Judy is rambling on about her family. And apparently Nick has been opening up a bit with Judy about them as well. What could he have said about his father that has Judy concerned? Looking forward to the next installment to when we might find out (whenever that might be).
