Description
Two Dauntless-class light cruisers from my fleet's recon squadron. There are three light cruisers in the squadron total, two equipped with torpedoes and one with prow lances. Shown here is the Phantasm on the left and the Banshee on the right. Their job is to flank the enemy, running up the opposite side of the frigate squadron and deliver torpedo salvos and lance support to the weapons battery-heavy grand cruisers.Related content

Very nice models indeed. I like how you have the turning degrees labeled and sprinkled... something... on the bases, hey how did you do that anyway? If I start an Eldar fleet, I wanted to paint them black with stars to represent the holo-field (and individual stars painted on that is challenging and neat looking to me.)

I did the stars on the base by putting a little white paint on a toothbrush, pointing the brush at the base and then pulling my thumb over the bristles. Slow pull gives small stars, fast pull gives big stars. Don't use too much paint, or you get globular splatters that don't look like stars. Play around with it, you'll get something that feels right. Also I don't think I'd recommend flicking paint on your battleships P:

Very good technique. Though I'm not understanding the reason behind not using it on the ships themselves. Dabbing tiny little dots on the ships seems... tedious.
