Description
©Copyright and ™ Trademark of the names and designs of Star Wars go to George Lucas, LucasFilm Limited, and Walt DisneyNote: This OC of mine is just a copy and paste of the TIE Boat with some clever alterations.
Update: I have made the middle part of the picture that shows the side of the ship, to match the front and back of the ship of the left and right parts of the picture.
Update 2: I had to upgrade the wings, as well as the top, and even the bottom, whilst getting rid of the orange background for a plain white background.

The TIE Fly was the Pure Galactic Empire's answer to getting the perfect bomber. Inspired by the TIE/sa Bomber of the Imperial Remnant (which the Pure Galactic Empire was running out of), Pure Galactic Imperial engineers thought up the TIE Fly by taking the blueprints of the TIE/sa Bomber, removing the ordnance shaft, changing the wings completely, and giving it more Wing Weapon Columns to fire loads of weapons. There were 4 Bomb Chutes, two below the TIE Fly's main body, and one underneath each Weapon Wing Column. Introduced in 52 ABY, the TIE Fly impressed imperials beyond a round of applause as it showed off its immense paylod capacity, strength, and power, on abandoned and decommissioned ships from across the galaxy. Piloted by two TIE Pilots, with one being the pilot and the other being the gunner, the TIE Fly was more than capable of handling itself without escorts and fighters (although it would be escorted by either TIE/D Raptors or TIE Balls), which made the TIE Fly Pilots suicidal and crazy at times, which is why the TIE Fly got its nicknames (see above). Each imperial ship would deploy about 100 TIE Flys (each being escorted by either four TIE/D Raptors or four TIE Balls) at a destination to destroy and weaken enemy locations, as well as to cripple and devastate enemy fleets that were a favourite of the TIE Fly pilots, making bombing missions very successful for the Pure Galactic Empire. The average success mission percentage ranged from 49%-51% (with all surviving or a few remaining TIE Flys having no payloads of bombs and/or missiles left), with the average kill count as 67 for each TIE Fly, and about only 16 TIE Flys being shot down, the stats proved to be very appealing to Pure Galactic Imperial High Command. If the TIE Fly was in trouble, then the two pilots could successfully escape with the help of ejector seats, and each pilot had a successful working parachute that never failed, as well as a jetpack if they were to eject into space. The simple wings meant that it could steer more quickly, whilst the two boosters of each wing helped the TIE Fly achieve more higher speeds, than the TIE/sa Bomber could ever do. On some missions, the TIE Fly was often required to go on suicide missions to destroy large capital ships, due to its large weapon capacity. Most of the Capital ships that were caught off guard were wrecked completely, whilst those that survived were put into repair bays for multiple months, and only a few capital ships survived deadly barrages by the TIE Flys. The TIE Fly continued to be in service well into 400+ ABY, when a Dantooine clone/cloning factory/facility (for making human clones, and according to rumours, a new breed of Jango Fett clone, that had Sparthi clone DNA and RNA in them) of an enemy faction was successfully destroyed by a squadron of TIE Flys, who were escorted by TIE Balls and TIE/D Raptors, whilst dropping lots of pamphlets and leaflets in the self-destruct racks, in order to recruit the people of Dantooine to join the Pure Galactic Empire. There is still yet to be some more info, but the imperial archives are slow at updating so expect updates, but in the far future in about ten years or so (but only in the Star Wars Legends and/or Infinities universes
Imperial information ends here.
So, what did you think?
This is my most impressive TIE OC ever.
I always had the ideas of what the Imperials would deploy from the bomb dropping parts.
Since the Main Galactic Empire had something like this, then it was the Pure Galactic Empire's turn to have this technology.
Also, TIE Pilots who fly in a planet's atmosphere are called 'Ground Hogs', whilst TIE Pilots who fly in space are called 'Air Heads', which is why the TIE Fly was nicknamed 'Flyboy' and 'TIE Flyboy', whilst a group of TIE Flys would be called 'Flyboys' and 'TIE Flyboys'.
Plus, the Legends Jedi Hero (or Sith Villain) Kyle Katarn said "TIE/ln Fighters are Suicidal, TIE Defenders are Bloodthirsty, and TIE/ln Interceptors are both Bloodthirsty and Suicidal.", which is why the TIE Fly Pilots were both crazy and suicidal to give the TIE Fly the nicknames above.
