I like this a lot more than your assault rifle, but there could be much more effort put into it to make it look outstanding.could i perhaps see the model and textures?

Well, this one I have been working on longer than my assault rifle, what you saw on the rifle was flat textures, while this has normals and speculars.

Holy crap, you win. His Romeo-esque visor add-on looks a bit large, though. It would look cool if it came down in front of his eyes though.

Wow, amazing job, man. Those tiny hands are still bugging me a fair amount, but everything else looks fucking fantastic.
I can't see the helmet too well, but I'm going to go ahead and assume that you fixed it up.
And that new armor color is looking great, by the way.

I am still trying out that smoothing group thing you did for the visor, I just preffer the bump map more though, looks smoother, makes the visor seem less low poly.

There is that. Dunno, I used about 2 dozen polys on the visor, but I'm aiming for use in a game at some point, so I was deliberately trying to keep the polycount low. I feel like if I was using it for animation or something I would probably quadruple that polycount and that sense of low-poly-ness would fade a fair amount.

for this model, I can simply add a turbosmooth, and seperate the smoothing groups by materials and smoothing groups of the model, Tripling it's resolution :3
