Sorry if it's on the small side and a bit messy looking, it was just a quick thing I came up with.Either way I was just brainstorming random ideas and I thought of the Unholy Cross and thought "Hey, that seems like a "Binding of Isaac boss" and so here we are.
The left one is version 1 and the right one is version 2. Let me know which one looks better, or maybe they are both good and then the Unholy Cross can be a multi-stage boss.

True, might be more interesting as a two-stage boss considering the fact that they're not many two-stage bosses in the games. For as the description says "maybe they are both good and then the Unholy Cross can be a multi-stage boss."
