No? The original game is called H.E.R.O., and that's what we're making a remake of.

I really dont see how this reminds of OoT. Since the people dont living in hole dug under ground and there is only one mountain in the whole game.

The leaves/grass look so soft...like fur. *pets them*
That is just so cool though. The lightning is impressive, but I think my favorite part is the rocks.

This really is stunning. Beautiful pixel work, great scenery and stunning design. Now I'm wanting to both play the game and break into the gaming industry again! Very nice work, definately worthy of the DD.

This is some of the most detailed pixelart that I have ever seen.
Great texturing, excellent use of colours.
The only things that look a bit funny are the lightening flashes and the red eyes, for some reason they look lower quality than the rest.
Good job.

That is really cool.. really reminds me of the early 90's adventure games.. And since this will be an (adventure?) game, hopefully more interest will be garnered into this slowly dying genre.

i saw some of the progress shots of this on the pixelation forums... but the finished image is just outstanding, i can't find anything to criticise... the dark muted colours sets the ambience perfectly, and the lightning effect is awesome!
a very well deserved dd (and a for me)...

Looks like you're planning to have the picture be scrolled up or down.
I'd guess the same -- and I think that it would make a hell of a scroll, I might add. Tons of little detail gives great life to this scene. Shading is awesome and, well .. the whole darn thing is pretty awesome.
*high-tales it to that little cave/door*
Sweet, sweet work.

I really like this one...the rocks are perfect and perfect is the grass too...clouds are really solid and mountains are very good.
The only (little) thing I like less is the frame of the door: I don't like the wood texture of it (or maybe it is a rock texture, but I don't like it anyway...)
Again, really great work

Either way, this submission is a nice one. You've managed to present a really eerie and dark atmosphere here, with the amazing use of colors. The grass, lighting, clouds and rock texture are done like a professional; worthy of a place in the video game.
Good job! Keep it up.

Your shading for the rest of the piece is amazing as always.

That is... EXTREMELY awesome. The preview image reminded me of Grave of the Fireflies, that's why I clicked it... but it's kind of unbelievable that this was not done by a professional company. Positively gorgeous. If I was not on a fav diet, I'd fav it right now. In fact, I might anyway. I would do the lightning a bit differently, though, especially on the darker right side of the cloud, where the contrast seems a bit too stark. Keep it up, this is top quality stuff.

nice lightening effects, but i think the parts where the light flashes onto are abit too big and chopped up
