Oh my god, this was hard... Finally managed to draw a griffen I was proud of.... yeah, the anatomy could be better and all that, like I think the wings should be bigger, maybe moved down more ummm.... I can never get the lion side and eagle side together that well. But it's the nest I managed.

Anyways, this is the Griffen that the Griffen tamer rides in the legend. That was Kjhaag's mother, Wyrven, who is now the Queen of the elves.

The dark plates on the griffens chest etc, are hardened.... stuff that serves as armor. There's some covers the front of the wings at the shoulders, then spreads down his back. There's also some under the fur on his chest.

Yeah that little guy on his head is an adult elf. He is my favorite part of this whole picture.
