thanks but there are still far too many mistakes, it needs a complete revamp. new background, new everything. will paint over this some time and fix it all up. just need to improve my background making abilities ... which may take some time. uhum

so i compared this to the older version, and your lighting is getting so good
i really liked the eyes in the jacket, i thought they looked great
the water in the background looks so great, the one thats "waving" still freaks me out the eyes are so intense but i guess that is a good think considering the whole image is in the horror category

i would have liked to keep the eyes on the jacket too but it just didnt seem to work out so i left them out. will probably add them when i get around to redoing this image again in the future.
the waving kid is a bit freeky i will admit but it is atleast less freeky than the last version which i deleted because it disturbed me. (yes, it really was that bad)

a lot of the image is too rough and is in serious need of refinement. but will leave it for a while so that i can hopefully improve a bit before returning to this. will try a bit harder with my next batch of images.

only added the water in the background but it turned out too messy and seeing as i was only using a single layer to paint everything. doing the ground would have been a major hassle and just seemed like it may end up being too much for the image.

well i dont like to use too many layers because it tend to cause glitches in my images. large coloured blocks, strips and sometimes the worst of all, a corrupted file. so because of that i try to use a maximum of 3 layers for any image. 1-background. 2-character. 3-notes. only problem with this is that the background leyer was the original image and the character layer was the paint over. adn i'm sure you noticed all my notes scribbled over it during the wip stages.
there are still plenty of mistakes in this image which irritate the hell out of me and i will be redoing it sometime in the future. i only hope to get around to it sooner than i did last time.

So you use the same layers and just erase and stuff? Ahh I see! I usually try to finish it in one go, because then I know I'll never go back to doing it otherwise...and for me large files crash my computer
