Description
Made originally in UltraFractal 5, from a standard Julia formula. I added to it in Photoshop CS, blending layers and using filters to give it a rocklike texture, and finished it off with a layer that had a contrast adjustment done to it, giving it a grainy look, to achieve the look of the ancient fossilized rocks of Glacier National Park.It amazes me, how much doing manipulations adds to the file size, taking the original 5 mb render that came out of UltraFractal, and increasing it to almost 25 mg! I had to decrease the size of this to 1500 pixels wide, in order to upload it. You can find the original, high resolution version to purchase, HERE, in my Redbubble gallery .

I like this interesting, textured abstract, especially the beautiful colours. It does look very crystalised and rock-like, well done!

Thank you! I'm sorry I'm so late to reply. I've had trouble accessing my message center since they changed it around. My computer freezes whenever I try, so I only see my comments if I open my art page. I hope you have been doing well. I've been so busy at my RedBubble site that I haven't had much time to come here.
