Description fractal manipulation.

pieced together from pieces of fractal created using apophysis and then all put together using photoshop.
the dashed lines and a fe other faint star shapes added using photshop brushes everything else is made from pieces of fractal

thankyou for the compliment its a bit of on older work of mine now but i still have a soft spot for this one as it was one of the first attempts of mine of tinkering using fractals to make figureΒ

thats exactly how i developed this style - hardly any understanding of apophysis and fractals but some photoshop skill - i just tried combining the two and it by sheer luck paid off

very much so - i wrote an article for a magazine on how i make these 'fractal manipulations' in the middle of this year so the mixing media and combing the two programs paid off. i certainly recommend giving it a go if you get the chance i love how when i take something 'unpredictable' and make things like this from it - granted you can dictate the shapes that apophysis gives you but i always choose to begin with random settings - i love the idea of not knowing what i might find when i work
