Description
A comic starring Futura and Jessica from the Filmation cartoon Ghostbusters (no relation to the 1984 movie or the animated spin-off The Real Ghostbusters; it’s an animated sequel to the 1975 live-action TV show), which shows them going through the same transformation sequence that Jake and Eddie went through in order to change from their regular clothes into their Ghostbuster outfits. Futura has used the Skelevator to change into her uniform before but this is the first time Jessica has gone off on a mission and thus the first time she has used the Skelevator so she has no idea what the process is like.With both girls dressed and ready to go they set off to help Jake and Eddie fight the bad guys!

What a great way to end this. I’m only sorry that we don’t actually see them battling the villains. They were the only thing I liked about the show besides Futura and Jessica.
You did a really good job on the whole comic. I am admittedly not a fan of the show, but I like these 2 ladies. I think that they are both good characters who deserved to be in a better show. I hope that someday they’ll do a Filmation Ghostbusters reboot that is genuinely entertaining. They can make all the dumb things hilariously silly and/or come up with reasonable explanations for them, give all the characters real personalities and throw in an overarching storyline to keep things interesting. But most importantly, they should show Futura and Jessica busting ghosts at least every other episode. I’m pretty sure that it’d be better than Ghostbusters 2016. It would also be cool if Futura and Jessica had a transformation sequence like this one. All this will probably never happen, but I can dream.

Best transformation sequence ever! I like the one in the show, but if you replace Jake and Eddie with Futura and Jessica then you have stock footage I would never tire of seeing (providing they change it after the first time so that Jessica doesn’t get kicked around in every episode).
This is an absolutely perfect way to end the comic. I love their poses and the Ghostbuster symbol in the background.
You did an amazing job from start to finish. Any problems I have with this are my own fault for not getting everything together the first time. I just wanted to get to you before you closed up requests. This has been a real learning experience.

I’d love for you to do a sequel to this comic, but I’d rather see you draw a different idea of mine about 2 characters from an obscure video game series. I’ll tell you about it after you re-open requests. I’ll just send you the basic description, and if it sounds interesting to you I promise that I will send you everything you need for it in 1 note. I’ll start writing it so that I can send it to you when I want to.
3. Finally, what motivates you to do these requests? Why do you give away such wonderful works for free? What’s so special about this comic that you worked so hard on it? I am honored that you chose my idea, and hope that you will like my next idea.

Hi. Thank you for all the complements. My favorites scenes had to do with poor Jessica going through the clothing changer not fully understanding what she was getting into. I couldn't help but laugh as she gets tossed from the web to the conveyor belt.
As for requests, hopefully soon. I've been trying so hard to get everyone's requests done but it's hard with work and home and other thongs popping up and getting in the way. Hopefully this month with be smooth sailing from now on.
As for your last question I like the ideas that people send me and I don't mind doing the requests for free. For comics I'll do about twenty pages for free but anything beyond that would involve money. And I don't take every request people send me, some are either too out there for even deviantart or they make me uncomfortable. And I liked your idea for the comic. The story was both fun and funny to do and I've never seen the show before so it was really cool to do. When I get more requests done we'll talk about your next one.

You deserve every single one of those complements. Admittedly, those are my favorite parts too. The best parts for me are all the scenes with the ladies in their underwear, but even so Jessica’s scenes stand out. All women are beautiful, but IMHO red-haired women are the best-looking. I thought it was funny when Eddie got kicked around, and I thought Jessica in the same situation would be just as funny. Slapstick knows no gender after all. Usually I’m not a huge fan of EUF as it can easily be too demeaning for the characters involved. This only applies to heroines; I have no problem with villainesses being put into such situations because they probably deserve it. But this instance works because it’s not accidental nor is it done to humiliate her; it’s just part of an elaborate clothes-changing process. This would probably be any sane person’s initial reaction to going through it for the first time. Fortunately she learned her lesson after this and never got kicked by the Skelevator again (as we will hopefully see in a future comic).
However long it takes, it will be worth the wait.
Really? You are truly a blessing to this community. Okay, I’ll keep the maximum length in mind for my next comic. It will probably be a little longer than this one, because I’ll need a little extra time to set up the background in the first pages.
Even though you’ve never seen the show you’ve done my idea justice. I shared this whole comic on a Filmation Ghostbusters board, and my best friend there (who BTW is a significantly bigger fan of the show thn I am) loves it too so you definitely captured the feel of the show. He started analyzing this a week ago but only got through the first 5 or 6 pages then stopped promising more to come later, and I haven’t heard from him since. I can share his observations with you when he’s done if you wish. I’m so glad you thought this comic was fun and funny.
