Update: A little colorchange.
I try not to heart my own work, but Human/Hulder Mistel turned out so cute here. This is the first page you actually can see my entire process behind a page. From sketch to ink to color. I have put together a little film on 2 minutes with some sketches on the side a nice music

But in all seriousness I hope her mother doesn't see her tail...so how come she always has the tail when she attempts human form?

I don't think she will, because of the same magic that makes people ignore or forget the wights. So her almost human appearance will be accepted and the abnormalities ignored.
The tail is because she can mostly just morph transform body parts and it's further from the body so harder to do. She has to keep the form to, so she had to keep it simple

Question is, how long can she hold this form for I wonder??? This is an awesome comic, so glad I found this. Was totally thinking his parents were gonna see the fox, but nope - she surprised me! Of course I suppose she could just erase their memory too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do you know the toy "rubber poppers"? That's kinda how I see her transformation, that when she transform she can stay in the form for a long time, but just like "rubber poppers", if you don't mange to turn them inside out properly, they will pop straight back again to their original form. That's why she could not transform properly or for a long time before, now she have master it better.

My thoughts exactly when I read rodrevs comment above. Aaaand maybe that´s the reason why Mimir forced Mistel to "entertain" him - so she had to train her skills for a situation like this one?! And maybe Mimir saw that coming and wanted to prepare her? Questions, questions, many we ask - some of the future, and some of the past... ^^

Eh, he could be evil. First of all, IMO reading someone's mind without their permission is pretty freakin immoral. Second of all, he previously claimed that his forcing them to do stuff simply amused him. Now his comments on page 83 are the most mysterious by far... there's a lot of references there that we don't understand yet and it's hard to tell if he has a malevolent tone or not, because I agree with you that it's possible to read his statements in that comic as a kind of "I disapprove of what you're doing but I'm ultimately just trying to help you" way of speaking, and all that crap he put them through did have a benevolent end goal behind it. But, I think it's also possible to interpret it as him just saying that they're screwing around and he doesn't like them.
