Fresh from [link] Coolape.Really bothersome, both the Coraline movie and this one's original files were damaged all of a sudden because of a broken USB stick. So I had to redo a lot of stuff, which is why there might be a few changes in this flash.
Yah, so this is Final fantasy 7 in 3 minutes, or rather, Final fantasy 7 as told by someone who hasn't played the game in 10 years. So I might got a few details wrong, but mostly I'm quite sure 99% of all the plot happens because ,or is solved by, a big explosion.
And of course I had to mention the second worst videogame ending ever. My prize for the really worst RPG ending ever is still for Phantasy star 2. Ugh.
Thanks to Rugal and Stephany and Zody and Molly for voices. Final fantasy 7 is property of Square Enix and all that.

The music before the comet exploded or something was from 'Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light' not 'Tomb Raider Anniversary'. The song's name seems to be 'Belly of the Beast' even though it plays many times before that level in the game.

It's track 2, called Greatest moments.

FF7 is my favorite game ever. XD
I never realized how many explodes there are in it! It's so true! And yeah, when we first beat the game, my friend and I were like, "Whaaat? Now what?" But luckily we had already seen the movie that takes place 2 years from then.

Also what's the craziest thing you've seen with Cloud shippers? It can be any of his idiotic pairings, including Sephiroth, because I hate Final Fantasy anyway.

I did play the actual final fantasy 7 game. In fact, I played them all besides the first 2, the third only on the DS remake, and I didn't play 11, 13 or 14 yet. And several of the spin offs I guess.
But it has been a full 10 years since I played final fantasy 7, and other then checking the FMV's for drawing references, I didn't do any new research no.

Fuck 11 and 12 (despite me TRYING to like the game). I think that when it comes to FF, retro is the way to go.

I kinda liked 12, although the style was a bit to dry, and the difficulty pisses me off.
It's not that the game is hard.. it's more that the game is relatively easy and then BOOM HOLY SHIT ITS HARD WITHOUT WARNING and then it's easy again.
Way unbalanced.
Final fantasy 9 OPENS very strong. Great music, high energy adventure and swashbuckling action, finally a charming humorous Robin Hoodish hero instead of the usual Amnesia suffering social misfits (Altough Zidane also ends up having amnesia..)
Man, that opening act, thiefs having a theater show to storm a castle and save the princess, filled with rooftop chases and adventure, and bits of slapstick humour including the royal guard missing a jump and crashing headfirst into a wall, awesome.
But as further as you get in the game, how weirder it gets. By the third CD I had no idea what was going on and trough the entire 4th cd I was just in a dream state, just going trough the motions. Every new plot element is greeted by a brain-dead " Uhh..okay" from me. Shame...
But the opening acts is still my main example of how any rpg should open. Just BOOM, adventure.
As for Final fantasy X, ugh.. It's terribly slow paced. If that game has 15 hours of cinematics, there's only 1 hour of actual plot, the other 14 minutes is just the main characters slowly staring at the scenery, talking hours about mudane stuff.
I only saw bits of final fantasy 13 at my sister's, so can't say much about it. The opening location was boring tough, just walking on linair bridges over and over. From what I gather from reviews, the entire game is just walking around over bridges, narrow paths or corridors.
So little scale of giant planet trekking journeys then.

As for 9, Zidane just looks freaking awesome and he seems much more interesting than cloud does. So obviously I have to play a game with a character that looks interesting.
As for 10 and 13 I dunno..but I'll consider your words when I DO try out 10.
