Fresh from [link] Coolape.Really bothersome, both the Coraline movie and this one's original files were damaged all of a sudden because of a broken USB stick. So I had to redo a lot of stuff, which is why there might be a few changes in this flash.
Yah, so this is Final fantasy 7 in 3 minutes, or rather, Final fantasy 7 as told by someone who hasn't played the game in 10 years. So I might got a few details wrong, but mostly I'm quite sure 99% of all the plot happens because ,or is solved by, a big explosion.
And of course I had to mention the second worst videogame ending ever. My prize for the really worst RPG ending ever is still for Phantasy star 2. Ugh.
Thanks to Rugal and Stephany and Zody and Molly for voices. Final fantasy 7 is property of Square Enix and all that.

It's several hundred years after the story, and you only see Red XIII.
the others could be dead (well, tehy probably are anyway after 100 years)
You see Midgar in the background, but because of the bad resolution/quality of the movies back then, it's hard to see if it's PARADISE Midgar or RUINED AND TURNED INTO A JUNGLE Midgar.

You prove a point... but the Geese (Or whatever the hell those were) I think were supposed to symbolize peace.
In your defense though, it's never told how Midgar actually GOT that way. Word of God nor Advent Children has stated how Midgar became a garden.
Midgar would also probably be a pancake if it got crushed by Meteor. That's a different thing. Oh, and the laughing....

Well, even if Midgar is in peace, it sucks to leave the main characters so sudden.
I played the game for 2 months. I got attached to the characters, had all these adventures and things.
And then BOOOM, in the middle of the climax the game ends. With only vague simbolism implying that there MIGHT be peace and stuff. Yeah, great, thanks.
And yeah, Advent chilren and Dirge of ceberus, blah blah. Keep in mind these sequels were made only a decade later. When final fantasy 8 was released, the series never showed any interest in the possibility of a sequel. The end is the end.
Ah well, Phantasy star 2 is still the worse ending for an rpg. Altough that game was at least needlessly bitter and cynical right from the start, so you didn't expect much of a nice ending.

Well see, this alien mosnter thingy wants to destroy your planet, so the hero and his team go into the spaceship to kill it.
However, it seems that creature was actually created by specific human beings who wanted to kill all society and start repopulating themselves, them being superior or whatever.
So a final battle is in order, the superior humasn grab their weapons, the heroes grab their weapons, they ran towards each oher with their swords raised, filled with rage and despair, a battle cry is heard when swords clang and
The end.
And the sequels never tell you how it ends. Yay.

Partly true, but It's my opinion that making a comedy is like preparing a meal, and every brand of comedy is a ingriedent.
A satirical basis, parody sauce for the taste, a touch of slapstick, a little pun here and there, a ironic cherry on top.
Every kind of jokes get's tired if it's on it's own. Pure satire is very tough and bitter, slapstick get's one sided, pure puns are lame.
But combine them all and give each of them their perfect spot, and you got a classic.

I watched this on cool ape for like 20 times allready, I kinda like to compare this one to the "fighty fight fight" one, (wich by the way I didn't like it it very much when I saw it for the first time, but later on, I kept rewatching and now is one of my favourites )
I really enjoyed this one too, was more rushed than the crisis core, but thats what makes it so funny. (alltought it was no fun for you to redo the subtitles, and the "rufus explodes" scene)

Well, I made this one before I worked on Crisis Core, so this was a warm up round untill I was more comforteble with drawing Final fantasy 7 style. And now the redrawn Rufus looks out of place. Ah well.
I'll have another anime themed movie coming later, based on Dead or alive which would be in the same direction as the fighty fight fight movie. But that's for net year.

Depends on what anime you watch.
If you pick the more short anime, with only 26 episodes or so, the story is way more fast paced and tight. It's mostly these 300+ episode anime like Naruto and One piece that have "Guy A fights guy B and WINS" as a plot for 99% of all their episodes.
