Pronunciation: Eye-lahn-we Soh-jruh

Name Inspiration: I remember hearing the name once and I liked it. When I looked up it’s origins, one of the meanings was said to be something like “River stag/deer”, and that it also possibly holds ties to the Eilon River. His last name comes from Sokka from Avater: The Last Airbender

Nicknames: He is occasionally addressed affectionately as Lonlon by his sisters, the older females, or childhood friends from his pack

Backstory: Eilonwy had been born into a litter of two to two loving parents and a pair of older sisters. He was the only of his siblings to be born with their grandmother’s color mutation. Nevertheless, he was treated just the same as the rest of his siblings. He grew up alongside his sisters extremely happy and playful, but spent most of his time in the water with his summoning, putting on shows of his aquatic acrobatic prowess for his family and anyone else who watched.
When his pack was attacked, he and his littermate were frozen on the spot, unable to move. His littermate had summoned her Summoning to help fend off the attack, but it was one of his older sisters that came to the rescue, knocking the attacking wolf with her powerful tail and dragging Eilonwy and his littermate to the water. Unfortunately, before the three could get low enough, his littermate was electrocuted and perished. Having to continue without her, he and his second older sister dove as deep as they could, where he was left with Sewa while the one who saved him went back to gather more pups, and huddled at the bottom until the attack passed, with Kaimana keeping watch over them. When the attack was over and the siblings, along with the other survivors of the attack, emerged from the water, they saw nothing but dead bodies, their parents and Eilonwy's littermate among them. There wasn’t a sign of Eilonwy’s second older sister. Knowing there was nothing left for them there, the siblings banded together with the rest of the survivors and began their trek to the desert, meeting up with a few others along the way. Eilonwy was absolutely overjoyed when Kane found the group and invited them all to join his pack. He now spends most of his time playing around in the water with Kaimana like he used to. He hopes to one day see his missing older sister brought in after a successful raid, but knows the deep down that he will likely never see her again. When called for duty, he is usually sent on aquatic hunts as Kaimana’s abilities greatly aids him in the location and capture of prey.

Personality: Eilonwy is a very playful and light-hearted individual. He greatly enjoys having fun and takes advantage of the underground lake in the Ghost Pups hideout to do so. This is where everyone looks for him first if trying to locate him. He can often be found using the abilities Kaimana grants him to torpedo around through the water and perform impressive acrobatic and aerial tricks with the great heights he can achieve with the speed. His is also known to invite any passerby’s into the water to play with him and almost never turns down an invitation to play a game with someone when asked. He is very naive, sometimes to the point of ignorance, and rarely ever takes things seriously. This may be because he has a hard time concentrating on certain things and has to make games out of them in order to focus. He is almost never assigned missions out of the water for this reason, as Kaimana is one of the few who is able to get him to concentrate. Of all the wolves in the Ghost Pups, he admires the Pack Leaders (particularly Kane and Sonoke) and Sewa the most. Much like the rest of the Water survivors, he thinks Kaitou is very adorable.

Appearance: Eilonwy is a color mutated, male Water wolf. His pelt is a more green-ish color than most of his species and his body’s main markings take on a more minty blue-ish. He possesses more markings in the same minty blue-ish color, along with a few green markings. His tail fin takes on a special shape in the form of a shark’s caudal fin, like that of his summoning.
Partially thanks to his summoning, Eilonwy is built for speed. Compared to other Water wolves, his body is much sleeker and slimmer, granting him a streamlined build to allow him access to greater than normal speeds. Due to how much he used the abilities Kaimana grants him, his tail and back legs became much more muscular than most overtime, which allows him to propel through the water and spring to great heights. However, he was also forced to sacrifice some of his height to achieve this, resulting in him being permanently rendered the size of a female.

Charm Origins: The tail charms were the idea of a child him so that his tail could better match Kaimana’s. The charm in the middle of his tail is meant to be modeled after a shark’s second dorsal fin (top) and anal fin (bottom). The one at the base of his tail is meant to be modeled after a shark’s pelvic fins.

Personality: Kaimana is nearly the complete opposite of her Summoner. Unlike her childish master, she is known to be very mature and serious. She often lightly scolds Eilonwy for using her gifts the way he does, but enjoys her time with him nonetheless, considering herself lucky that she wasn’t one of the many to be separated from her Summoner during the attack on his pack. She has a healthy relationship with Eilonwy and the two share a stable bond. Due to his ADHD, which causes him to become easily distracted, she has to often remind him of the task at hand, always more than once on each occasion.

Abilities: Most of the abilities that Kaimana grants him just amplify his current abilities and stats. There is only one exception.
Amplifications:
Large speed increase (in the water only. He still as slow as a normal Water Wolf on land)
Increased jumping height (Greater heights achievable in water than on land)
Incredibly keen sense of smell (A gift and a curse XD)
Vibration detection (only able to be used in the water; very useful for hunting and detecting oncoming danger)
Physical
Can grow a second column of longer, sharper teeth on top and bottom jaws, and make normal teeth longer and sharper at will (Useful when hunting and fighting but causes discomfort. Used as rarely as possible)

Fun Facts:
Eilonwy was originally going to be a girl with the last name of Kajhra. This was instead given to my second entry (until I changed it XD).
My original male Water entry design was going to not be color mutated with green markings while the original design for Eilonwy (still a female) Was going to be fully color mutated with purple markings. I ended up combining the two for Eilonwy’s final design.
The green markings actually work out well because I think the colors all go really well together and it makes it easier to change him to normal if you decide to accept him but want to give the color mutation to a different entry.
The original female Eilonwy was going to be given a Sea Otter Summoning named Casper, after the Caspian Sea. This was changed when Eilonwy became male and Casper was given to my new female entry.
I kept going back and forth on whether to make Kaimana a Shortfin Mako shark or a Spinner dolphin. I ended up going with Mako as it fits her name better. I briefly thought on making her a Sea Lion but this idea was scrapped.
He was changed from female to male for several reasons.
My friends and I all planned on entering our wolves as siblings, and they both planned on making theirs female.
There was a severe lack in male entries
I really like making males for some reason. Don’t know why. It was the exact opposite when I was little.
I wanted a Summoning named Kaimana (which sounds more feminine than masculine to me, despite being a unisex name)
“Water Stag” sounds better than “Water Deer” to me
Eilonwy is technically a unisex name so it worked out
Actually, most sites claim it to be meant as a masculine name, so…
I felt like it XD
I wanted one of his abilities to be gills, but why would he need to be underwater more than 5 hours?
I just realized he is basically the embodiment of a child disguised as a teenager XD

He just a cheerful little cinnamon roll X3
