TWISTED BAB! I've been waiting for Plant Slaves to make her for SO LONG!!! Hope y'all like her!

Name Inspiration: Her first name comes from the plants “Natal Plum” and “Pyracantha”. Her last name comes from the plants “Hawthorn” and “Holly”.

Backstory: Nana was born a very sickly pup that needed lots of attention. Her parents constantly worried about her because of this, as if believing if they weren’t caring for her 24/7 that she’d die, which wasn’t far from the truth. Their constant fretting and overprotective nature made her a very dependent and naive pup, even after her health improved. When the Shadow Clans attacked, she hid with many others in the pack’s large den to wait for help, shakily listening to the traumatizing screams of everyone outside as they were burned alive. When the den was set on fire, she fled outside with the other pups, but was caught.
Once she got to the Slave Camp, she was quickly singled out by the guards for her fragile health, and they would mercilessly pick on her. Rather than growing upset and angry for what they were putting her through, her dependence on other wolves turned her perspective of the treatment on its head. As the guards were the only constant adults around, she came to perceive them as guardian figures, looking up to them like she would the adults in her packs. When the guards found this out, they only further singled her out and would keep a hawk’s eye on her and never fail to jump at the opportunity to expose her to punishment if she messed up, and even when she didn’t if they were bored. This behavior, coupled with her viewings of it, made for a very unhealthy mindset. She started to view her punishments and torture as normal wolf behavior, causing her to act the very same way towards her fellow Slaves since she thought this was how she was supposed to behave. Many of the other Plant Slaves often try to help her correct this, but never tend to get very far.

In the Slave Camp, she was picked on by the guards for being weaker than the others. Because of how dependent and naive she is, she grew attached to the guards and saw them as sort of guardian figures. When the guards picked up on this, they started targeting her more, interested to see how this mindset would affect her behavior. She developed unhealthy social habits because of this and started to view the punishment and torture she was put through as normal behavior that every wolf was supposed to go through. As a result, she started acting the same towards her fellow Slaves. Many of the other Plant Slaves often try to help her correct this, but never tend to get very far.
Personality: Nana comes off as twisted. Considering how she treats others, coupled with her beliefs that it’s okay and doing it all with a happy smile on her face, it’s not hard to see why. However, despite this, she is actually a good wolf at heart with a very calm, gentle, and sweet soul. The poor thing is just confused and doesn’t know any better.
Charm Origins: Nana has two charms. One is a dark red thorny bracelet with a white gem on her right foreleg. The other is a dark red thorny tail ring. Both were gifted to her by her parents.
Scar Origins: Nana has four scars total. Three are on her lower back, and one is a tear in her left ear. All four scars originate from the Slave Camps.

She is a reworked version of my Ghost Pups Plant entry
She was the original idea I had for my Plant entry for the Ghost Pups but I couldn’t use it since if she was a Ghost Pups, she would’ve had to have gone to the Slave Camps and her role would be Torturer. Since the Ghost Pup Plant survivors did/were neither, she was changed for that.
She is well known amongst my friend group as I’ve been talking about her for MONTHS
Among those I’ve told about her, she is known under the nickname of “Mama Loves You”
Definitely one of my top TOP favorites out of all my fan characters, hands down.

The contrast between the white of her eyes and symbols against the dark, blood red of her charms is to show that her innocence and purity is masked behind her twisted perception of her reality. And in her symbolized version with the dark red eyes, the dark red color is meant to sorta signify a lens that shows her this twisted reality.
Gosh dang, her twisted paw was a PAIN!!!
Because of how much of a pain her paw was, I made versions where her paw isn’t twisted and she instead became dependent and naive because she used to be very sickly when she was younger.
I eventually gave up on the twisted paw as it was too much of a pain and I could’ve only imagined the annoyance it would’ve cause Shilach if she was chosen.
When she still had her twisted paw, she had the nickname of “Twist”.
I had a decent bit of trouble coming up with symbols for her.
A couple of you may or may not remember her depending on whether or not you read my conversation with Shilach among the earlier comments of the Plant Ghost Pups journal.
I suppose she could qualify as having a sort of stockholm syndrome? She's not in love but she's grown attached to her captors? I'd have to consult my DSM5.
When she was entered, she was Demisexual. Later, I wanted to change her to Bisexual, but refrained because Shilach had already chosen and I didn't know if she was already working on putting them on the site, so I just left it alone. As you can see, it didn't matter either way as she was changed to Heterosexual when accepted XD
There are many differences between this version of her and the version I entered for the Plant Ghost Pups.
I have slightly grown attached to her original Ghost Pup version so I will probably change that one's name so I can keep her.
