Description
Anti-aliasing! Y u no work! WTF? Help me, plz! I want to make better pics, but fucking anti-aliasing is gray (doesn't want to work). No matter, which model I load, still doesn't want to turn on. >:[Graphic card: nVidia GeForce 310M
Processor: Intel Core i5
MMD version: v7.39
DirectX: 11
Operation System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
FFFFFUUUUU
EDIT: Changed pic, that you may see what's the problem. Andru Ineru (left-down corner) was shrinked 2x than originally rendered (to fit pic).
EDIT2: helped me with this problem. Thank you very much!

How did you fix it? I'm a new mmd user, and it'd be VERY helpful.

an old graphics card will prevent such a feature, you may be able to force it in the drivers.

If you have NVIDIA - go to driver settings and go for "Antialiasing - Transparency". Then check 2x, 4x or 8x (not 100% sure if this will work). If you have ATI, I have no idea, bcuz I have NVIDIA graphic card.

If you have nVidia graphic card, then look at ~harumia comment. If different... IDK.

Essential what it does is take the edge of environments and models (depends on the type but for this example we will be using TXAA (Temporal Anti-aliasing)) and smoothes them out by taking the pixel between the model and environment is centers the model better it can be expensive to run but if you have a high end system usually that isn't a problem. Anti-liasing is a cheaper way to increase quality without rendering some new resolution.

Since you have Nvidia, you can do what I do (though its enabled for me)
On your desktop go to the NVIDIA control panel. Then go to manage 3d settings. Click program settings, and browse and find MMD. Then adjust the settings. Hopefully ant-aliasing is not greyed out and you can boost it.

When I feel like putting in the work, I soften my pictures manually, lol.
It's your graphics card, as quite a few others have stated. orz

Hmm...I never had that problem, w/e pc I had, I didnt had that problem. And you seem to have the latest version of MMD.
Then it may be your graphics card.

It doesn't help. Even if I load any model, anti-aliasing, doesn't want to turn black (stays inactive, gray).

o___o Well, don't you need a model loaded in before you can have the anti-aliasing?
If you do, then maybe it's because you have it on Camera and Accessories settings.

I dunno then. Could be your computer.
Your model to the corner doesn't look all crappy, it looks like it has the anti-aliasing on. .___.;;; So I dunno if your just trolling.

That model on the corner, it's a pic I shrinked in GIMP. Original was bigger.
