like this one a lot, especially the people down there.. whats the story behind taking this? It's rare for you not to HDR

Rom3o In reply to Kajua [2008-11-25 14:17:09 +0000 UTC]
hey kaj!
was my first photo i took in Singapore, the place i took it is just too good to be true, i thought hdr would ruin trying to accentuate the insane clouds.

Nice one Craig. Good photography, you made the right compromise in the exposure, manageing the blowout and leaving just enough detail in the dark areas!
This isn't the macro I was expecting as your next submission!

Rom3o In reply to taffmeister [2008-10-27 02:21:30 +0000 UTC]
haha yeah i almost uploaded a macro then fell for this shot.
and thanks for the comment tony, i understand it isnt totaly visualy appealing but i some how wanted it specificly like this.
but like patti said a tiny bit more exposure on the buildings would be nice so ive been thinking abt it.
im just lazy.

Can you up the exposure without blowing out the clouds even more?

Rom3o In reply to taffmeister [2008-10-27 09:49:41 +0000 UTC]
CS4 adobe camera raw.
can make the buildings as bright as u like without effecting the clouds at all.

I'm still on CS2 and for some reason it won't open raw from the D300. I'm using Lightroom and then CS2!
