Description
THE TALE: Located in the pristine confines of the Adirondack Mountains off US 9 near E-town (Elizabethtown), this waterfalls is created by winter snow runoff. I decided not to photograph the falls with a longer exposure creating the "creamy" looking water because this is wild country and the water is powerful. This is only the top part of the falls. Several miles downstream the water feeds into the Ausable Chasm Falls. The light does not stay long because of steep and high mountains and trees. This place has a spot in my spirit that causes me to return every time I am in the area.
