Description
Instructions!*Download the Action file and save it in your PC. (save it here if you want; \Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Photoshop Actions)
*Then either double click on it or open Photoshop and load it with the action pallete.
*Load your image to Photoshop. (must be drawn in white paper)
*Select the Lineart action in the action pallette then hit play and it will do the rest.
This is an Action the will eliminate all the blue lines created by blue pencil guide sketches (which i use to layout everything) and balances the contrast of the whole image to lineart quality finish. So now all you need to do is play the action when you have a page ready for digitalization. Saves me a ton of time.
Here's a test image to try it out on; [link]
Please let me know if it has bugs or if it doesnt work. Thanks.

never mind my other comment~ I found it. But I'm pressing play, but there's the little crossed out circle (that normally means: you can't do this. lol) instead of a cursor

Quick question, but can you name the type of pencil you use to do the blue lines.
I know you get a lot of comments but this would really be appreciated.
Secondly, to do the black lines do you just do them on a tablet in PS or do you use an actual pen and if so what kind.
I love to draw and love to try out new things since theres ALOT of room for me to improve (especially on things like backrounds
Anywho, love your gallery, lots of awsome stuff, especially the SDL.

The blue pencil is regular blue pencil you can buy at a bookstore. to be precise its faber-castel SV goldfaber. I believe they have but one size. The black lines are done with with an HB 0.5 mecahnical lead and 3B pencil also from fabes-castell. They are done on top of the blue lines of the same paper. i know its better to just lineart with a separate translucent paper but with this technique, i have a faster finishing time and less equipment to bring anywhere.

all blue colors and hues should work cuz PS will virtually eliminate it. Just be carefull with redish hues though.

Maybe I'm just thick but I cannot figure this out, perhaps I don't have the right thing open. Is there anyway someone could show me a screenshot of where I'm supposed to go once I open the document?

it doesn't seem like it's possible. I can't find the action command in elements, so I don't think it has the option.
