Kettleson: diplomatic, pro-active, serious, reserved, pre-occupiedMurmoose: shy, non-confrontational, quiet, warm, sentimental, avoidant
Ladle: uh... personality under construction
Sage: ambitious, confrontational, harsh, pushy, brash
Ravel: charming, light-hearted, peace-keeper, clever, manipulative
Here ya go, the main characters. The story kinda has two pov's/protagonists, Kettleson and Murmoose.
Initially Kettleson, Ladle, and Murmoose are together, but then plot makes things Kettleson-Sage-Ravel and Murmoose-Ladle.

A few things still need to be tweaked, I'll prolly be editing this forever, but finally done for the most part.

I can help but love their design! Everyone is so different and special ;u; Also I don't know how you're able to do all those turnaround headshots, If I try I won't finish until the third head of the first character

Thanks so much! (should I call you Apple? Applepencil? something else?) I'm really glad you find them special and so different from one another. I really appreciate character designs that unique and individual, so that's what I was hoping to accomplish by giving them different face shapes and facial features. Also, awesome that you're interested in this project! Even if only a handful of people care, I still think it's awesome

You're welcome Rontu! Well I would call this a "mission" acomplished because, as I said, everyone is unique, different and interesting in their own ways 
I will start doing concept art of my own stories. I've been delaying my own stories for so long I think I'm forgeting most of them ; ; I will only get to the third head because, by then, I'll be frustrated I can't get the perspective well x) but I'll do this soon. I still need to improve my drawing skills.

Awesome! I'm glad you find the elements of the project up so far as new and different! My personal inspirations for somma the visuals and story for this come from Avatar: the Last Airbender and certain Miyazaki films, but I really wanted to avoid inadvertently copying them, create something totally new. I hope it remains that way!

There IS a trick to doing these turn arounds, in that you only truly have to draw three heads--after that you can use the silhouettes of those heads to create the remaining heads. I'm thinking of making a quick tutorial to make it easier for people!

I'd love to see your characters, and turnarounds if you ever do em! Are you familiar with how to go about drawing turnarounds? I few people have asked me, or mentioned they don't know how I did this, so I'm thinking about making a quick tutorial since turnarounds are so helpful for understanding your character's faces.

That's a really interesting thing you say, cuz the way their faces were designed are really varied. For instance, Slai and Ravel, their personalities were established before any design work was done. So I intentionally designed their faces to portray a certain impression. For Kettleson, Murmoose, and Ladle, their faces were drawn before a personality was established for them.

Yeah, so now I'm wondering if I gave them personalities based on how they look... well I know for Kettleson I definitely did, he looks so serious. But to me, Murmoose looks really playful and warm, but we gave him a shy and quiet personality. So I dunno!

Hmm you're right, maybe that's because of his eyes expression that shows cuteness and shyness somehow.

Yeah, for shy people, shy isn't their "personality" but their reaction to social situations--so his true personality is warm and quiet, which does fit his face after all I guess lol

Slai (the blonde) is a lady trying to be a man for reasons, (not sure if you care enough to hear something more explanatory lol) and Ravel is a guy.

Haha, it's true! There are a lot of oranges and yellows... it makes Ravel such a welcome contrast to the other colors, which I think really fits his character, too.

Well, with him being a peace keeper, it seems a good idea to make him soft, cool, calm colors.
