What I like about this is the that you shaded fantastically look at all those colors that blend in together just right.

Duuude, this is super awesome Its so cool to see another Sonic piece from you

Honestly, I dont know how you were able to put so much detail into the gem in Sonic's hand, I always found making a gemstone look really crystally was so hard I also love the simplicity of the piece, and the varying colors used for the shading, like the pinks, yellows, greens, and browns, it brings a very colorful mood into the concept

I also really like the slanted angle used for Sonic too, gives the piece a Mystery and/or Adventure setting to me The light yellow backround fits really well too, as if its an incoming light Overall, I think its a very cute small piece The only thing that confuses me a bit is how the green reflects on Sonic's body, not sure why they look like flower petals, but I wouldn't really call it much of a problem since the piece still looks really cool~

Haha, I know, I was getting sad from not making anything Sonic recently

Weeell, I like the idea of the emeralds being a more rectangle-y shape, and while I was making this, I found that emerald-cut jewels (rectangle shapes) are like 10x easier to render than brilliant cut ones (the typical diamond shape). I'm usually horrible at making gemstones too, but this type of cut is actually really easy!

I'm glad you like the simplicity, I wasn't sure if anyone would cuz it's so zoomed in, with no action or background going on But I really wanted to create a mood, so I'm glad you got some of that! Also, I didn't even realize the reflections were like flower petals Haha, oops. To be honest, I didn't look at any reflection reference at all, I just threw some shapes down and liked it
