Daaaaaw, little Hans Peter.I really like how his costume turned out. Traditional German fashions are hard to design, simply because of all the layers of clothing and patterns on the fabric. (not for this one specifically but in general).
This whole project was inspired by the Nutcracker we have at my house. This past winter break I noticed what wild hair he had! I had to draw something! (I did, and then I forgot and was reminded to draw my own version, and here he is!!)
After helping break the curse on the King and Queens youngest daughter, the mouse queen set a curse on Hans Peter. She turned him into the first Nutcracker. The only way he could break the curse, was to kill her last son (the seven headed mouse king) and to be loved by someone.
"But of course" the Mouse Queen chuckled, "who could ever love such a hideous thing."

oh damn! that was a distraction
Well I bought Die Hard (1) for myself finally! It was funny I was watching it with my Grandma (mom's side) and I was shocked! She was loving it! I never thought any woman over 50 could enjoy that kind of action. Well, I don't remember if I told you this, but my friend Nikki really loves bruce willis too and we came up with a funny idea for a thesis, making fun of Die hard! I don't want to give it away now, but insead of Yippe-ki-yay he'll say "bon appetit M-er F-er!"
