Description
This is also an old art.5 of the same girl in one paper, I used her for my various emotive traits drawings, that is.
From a series Im going to work on in the future ; Rosemarble Parasol, an inspiring tale of an orphan children living in wartime, in a poverty-stricken homeland.

nice, but you see the Eva-01 picture I had up there, what I was trying to do was sybolize rage, because I was making it where the picture of the guy operating it was sycronized with the mech ya know but when I did that it came out all wrong, and I had taken the driver out of there. My freinds talk about being really good at drawing and all that but I have yet to see any emotion in their drawings, but still as refering back to your picture, it has emotion and people just don't draw that. The picture is great

Well that's nice to know, I intended to make this one more emo-full so that it's easier to influence people that the girl in the drawing has issues of her own, maybe I managed to do so.. Though, I don't work at full performance when I did this, really. It's kind of amazing to me how you like it so much.

Dude that is awesome, I love the pictures, I try to draw anime people and never get it right, though that also could be because I never finish any of my drawings, though I can draw mechs, anyway, that is awsome

It all comes with practice and determination, I've worked on anime since kindergarten and decided to take it seriously just around 4 years ago.. And it has come to this.
Well, for me.. It's different you know, I used to draw because I only want to draw, but now I draw to pass the important messages that I want to deliver to the people, being a schizophrenic, I noticed a lot of things, so I want to use it for my own, and others' good. I can already see my death is not that far from me, so I want to do these things before I die.
Not that I'd die anytime during these days, though, that is possible as well.
Anyway, my secrets to drawing people is the emotive traits, you've got to channel your emotion with your characters', and their physicals play into act too, especially the eyes. It will be different with different forms of eyes, this is based on the statement that I made myself, it goes as: How could a rat be paralyzed when it sees the snake's eyes? - This goes the same for people. So.. Like, eyes play a big part of it. This is just one part of it, but other aspects are taken into account as well, this will be discovered as you experiment more with people.
In other words, the more life you give them, then the more life it will have. This is the base principal I worked on, its actually originally adapted in manga. So.. My words are to study more manga than anime. This is especially because an anime is not necessarily drawn in full skill of the artist, or even worse, the artist him/herself could not be involved in its production, this goes true for most anime. While in manga the original artist will always put in his life in his works, like what Im practising. So it goes better to study by manga, why don't you try it?
Lastly, the most important reason, it's the feeling that you've got for the character that counts, artline skills are just bonuses - look at the likes of anime/manga like shinchan or chibimaruko.

Yea, but the only thing I've ever considered good is an FLCL drawing I did, and thats the only thing, though I know what your talking, but what it is, is that I try to draw then I notice all the things wrong with it and most i know is better then some other people's but its just not good for me.
I am better at drawing mechs and any thing like Gundam/ Evangilion, I just am better at those.
I still like your pic though, it has alot of emotion, I've looked through alot of them and though I look through alot of them yours is one that really catches my eye and though it may sound weird yours has the most "feeling" to it.

That's just about it, I myself isn't so sure of which of my pics got the most emotion. Because unlike mechs, which requires precision and technicalability, emo-manga like the one I do requires strong ties with the work regardless of skills. Though, skills are bonuses, like I mentioned.
So..It may seem harder for you but Im not all that good at drawing mechs either(even though I study engineering drawings at school). I guess It's what you're cut for, if you ain't cut for it then sure developing it is hard, just as me with mechs... I tell you, Im suck at it.
I may major in emo-manga because I fuse it unto me, I've been doing this for quite a while too so there's no fuss about it.
